A bright future for William Martin as part of Inflexion

July 8, 2024

In February 2024, we announced that Marlowe plc had agreed to sell William Martin, Elogs, Prosure360 and Barbour EHS to leading investment firm Inflexion. Following the official granting of regulatory approvals, we wanted to let you know what to expect.

As a customer of William Martin, what does this mean for me?

It’s business as usual, and there will be no difference in the service you receive or existing contractual arrangements. There will be no immediate changes to our people, organisation, or leadership teams.

What about the future of William Martin?

The future is bright. Our recent business performance has been strong and resilient, and with Inflexion’s backing, we are excited to be able to continue to invest and develop our leading software platforms and provide our clients with market leading compliance consultancy services. We will also continue to bring our platforms and brands closer together, giving clients a more seamless experience.

Here are some highlights from the past year:

  • On the back of record software product growth in 2023, we’re continuing to see customers seeking additional support and products from us in 2024. With many of our customers now taking our full ecosystem of products and services, benefitting from the unique integrations between them.
  • Successfully retaining 100% of our customers, welcoming back some returning customers and attracting over 150 new clients in 2023.
Our team continues to grow to meet this increased client demand, including our new Account Management Director, Amber Read, who joins our St Ives office.  We will look to continue to shape our teams to ensure that we continue to provide unrivalled best in class service for our clients.
  • Our software teams continue to deepen and enhance our software integrations, saving busy FM, property and health and safety professionals significant time and effort, with an integrated and holistic approach to compliance; for example, have you seen the new link between Meridian and Elogs CAFM or the links between our consultancy reporting and Meridian?
  • Our product development continues at pace. For example, Barbour EHS will shortly launch a fully upgraded platform which will make it even easier for customers to master complex legislation and keep ahead of legal developments.
